大会概况

国际转基因技术协会是涉及动物、植物等多物种跨学科的广泛性国际性组织，会员达500 余人，汇集了国际上最顶尖的转基因技术专家和相关技术人员，遍布欧美、亚洲、南美等各个发达国家和新兴发展中国家。本次2013 年国际转基因技术协会世界大会在广州举行，是该协会第一次在亚洲地区召开，也是国际性技术协会组织在中国召开世界大会难得的机会。

预计将有300 位外宾代表和300 位国内专家出席，将邀请包括诺贝尔奖获得者在内的国内外该领域最顶尖的学者与会并做精彩报告。大会专业技术委员会主席由国际转基因技术协会主席蒙特鲁教授和我国姚开泰院士共同担任。

本次会议获得中国科协，广东省科技厅和广州市科技局的批准和支持，全国性一级学会中国病理生理学会协助承办。
