Job  Responsibility：

Patient  Care:  Interpersonal  engagement  and  connection  with  the  patient  and/or  family.

Develop,  implement  and  evaluate  the  nursing  care  of  patients.
Perform  a  wide  variety  of  procedures  that  meet  the  patients’  needs.
Provide  patient  and  their  families  with  health  education  as  necessary.
Record  informative,  accurate  and  concise  statements  in  the  nursing  care  rendered  to  the  patient.
Assist  the  doctors  and  nursing  staff  during  surgical  procedures  /  endoscopy  and  examination  of  the  patient.
Monitor  endoscopy  /  OR  technique  practiced  in  his/her  assigned  area.
Monitor  patient  care  rendered  within  her/his  assigned  area  according  to  set  standards.
Participate  in  evaluating  the  effectiveness  of  care  given  to  the  patients.
Maintain  a  safe  and  clean  environment  for  the  patients.


Teamwork  and  Collaboration:  Through  the  effective  relationship  with  all  colleagues  and  members  of  the  health  care  team,  the  best  possible  outcome  is  achieved  for  the  patient  and  family.

Provide  guidance,  direction  and  teaching  to  Staff  Nurse  and  below,  to  ensure  that  quality  care  rendered  is  to  all  the  patients.
Aware  of  and  support  unit’s  and  colleagues’  needs  through  supportive  and  non-judgmental  behaviors.
Implement  established  operational  and  nursing  policies  and  procedures.
Assist  in  the  efficient  turnover  of  the  daily  elective  and  emergency  procedures  /  operations  for  the  assigned  room.
Serves  as  a  mentor  to  less  experienced  colleagues.
Leads  unit  based  committees  and  work  groups.
Assist  in  evaluating  effectiveness  of  new  methods  or  technology  and  to  communicate  outcome.
Participate  in  clinical  research  and  service  quality  activities
Promote  the  development  of  collaborative  relationships  with  colleagues  and  peers  by  communicating  in  a  constructive  manner.
Encourages  all  members  of  the  team  to  openly  share  their  ideas  to  improve  patient  care  delivery  and  the  smooth  operation  of  the  unit.


Qualifications:

Hold  current  PRC  nursing  license.
Minimum  6  years  of  clinical  experience  with  3  years  of  Peri-op/DSC/Endo  nursing.
Overseas  experience  preferred.
Valid  certifications  (BLS,  ACLS,  NRP,  PALS,  etc.)  per  hospital  policy.
Knowledge  of  Microsoft  Office  Suite,  HIS  and  OR  system.
Able  to  communicate  in  English.
