Professional  /  Educational  Qualifications
a. Secondary  3  or  equivalent
b. At  least  4-5  years  relevant  experience  in  CSSD/TSSU
Principal  Account-abilities
a. Ensure  departmental  policies  and  procedures,  objectives,  quality,  safety,  environmental  and  infection  control  standards  are  maintained.
b. Perform  decontamination,  washing,  cleaning,  packing  and  sterilizing  instruments  and  instrument  sets.
c. Pack  instruments  and  instrument  sets  for  sterilization  according  to  established  policies  and  procedures.
d. Perform  biological  and  chemical  monitoring  and  documentation  in  accordance  with  quality  assurance  standard.
e. Receive  requisitions  and  issues  requisites  to  OT  and  wards.
f. Maintain  the  integrity  of  the  sterile  instruments,  instrument  sets  and  linens  from  storage  to  usage.
g. Ensure  the  cleanliness  of  the  environment.
h. Ensure  department  records,  reports  and  files  are  maintained.
i. Participate  in  roll  call,  educational  and  in-service  program.
j. Perform  other  related  duties  as  assigned  by  Manager.
k. Ensure  the  proper  documentations  from  the  Wards  when  they  send  their  instruments.
l. Ensure  sufficient  supplies  of  inventories.
m. Assist  and  supervise  the  team.
n. Train  new  technician.
o. Encourage  and  implement  continuous  quality  improvement.
p. Operate  efficiently  to  reduce  overhead  expenses.
q. Investigate  and  apply  effective  problem  solving  methods  to  resolve  any  issues.
